Somatic Unwind Fascial Flow

The Somatic Unwind Fascial Flow
is a movement of healing.
Living present in our bodies
without the tissues of our past.
Renew yourself just as onions have layers.
Healing is a journey of ebbs and flows

how does it work?

Sitting or standing in a quiet place, your intentions are to clear out any noise. The fascia system has its own rhythm, so when we block out all distractions and are intentional with our healing, it makes for better work.

Once we’re in a cleared state, the fascia will give out a queue, which is where tension is held. Lightly, follow that queue but remain open to allow the fascia to show you where it needs unwinding

Intension is everything

When using Somatic practices to help release embodied emotions that may be trapped within the fascia and are either energetic or physical in nature.

When fascia is stressed, (wherever you hold your stress) fascia tightens up and may limit mobility. Remember, fascia goes deep.
Are you holding something in that’s holding you back?

Tissues hold tension

Do you know how many of my clients come in saying that they’re stressed and pointing at their back, neck and shoulders?
A good 90% or so. I have clients who deal with grief, anxiety, low self esteem, depression, physical pain but usually always has a back story to how that pain developed.
Wherever these emotions are held is where the client is having most fascial tension.

It’s time to unwind

Release trauma patterns
held within the fascia network.
The fascia
is a silvery thin web-like connective tissue that’s essentially the glue that holds in place organs nerve fibers, muscle fibers, bones, blood vessels
tissue, tendons and ligaments.
The latter is a dense form of fascia.
You are covered head to toe
Filled deep
with fascia.

Take charge of your life

Any method of tissue manipulation such as deep tissue work and myofascial release techniques are a good start.

Fascial unwinding can mimic and may in fact be or include stretching.
Trigger-points may need to be released by the help of a practitioner.
Techniques such as tapping
sound, vibration
may be implemented
to loosen up stuck energy
along with manual tools
for tissue manipulation.
Movements such as rocking may occur as a release response
of physical and Energetic debris
from the fascia.
